Dodd proposes bold financial overhaul

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The chairman of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee introduced a financial regulation reform bill on Tuesday that leaps beyond earlier proposals, calling for new government agencies on financial stability, bank supervision and financial consumer protection.
